This plaster guard is used during new construction or remodeling. To be put on the front of your inlet valves in place of the regular inlet valve cover. This protects the mounting plates for the inlet valves from paint and plaster getting into the inlet valve mounting plate. Once you have plastered or painted the wall simply remove the plaster guard and your inlet valve mount plate is ready to have the inlet valve cover permanently mounted.
Measures 2 1/2 inches wide, 4 1/4 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches between the screw holes.
Does not come with mounting screws.
