This 3M Pipe Fire Barrier is to be used on PVC, ABS, and CPVC pipe to limit or stop fire intrusion. This meets some states requirements for fire protection through firewalls. When heated the PVC pipe and wire expands quickly up to 60 times to seal off the fire. UL classified and FM approved. Water resistant and safe for contact with plastics.
