Nutone has been a manufacturer of central vacuums for many years. During the latter part on the 1900's Nutone manufactured proprietary inlet valves and hose that fit primarily the Nutone systems. Installed by many builders the Nutone systems continue their journey for new and innovative products.

In 2006 they introduced their new line of "VX Series" central vacuums that are designed to meet the cleaning needs of your home.

Large 6-gallon dirt receptacle bag neatly contains dirt, makes emptying power unit simple and clean. Features of the CV353 are single 3-stage bypass motor, convenient utility inlet on power unit, replaceable bag filtration, 6-gallon capacity, a secondary filter, UL Listed, two year warranty. Has CFM of 94, the waterlift is 134", air watts are 406 and has a switch on the vacuum unit. Recommends a dedicated 15 amp breaker.

With two parallel-mounted 3-stage motors, the CV850 packs more power in a compact package. The green LED on power unit shows system ready for use and changes to amber after 25 hours of operation to remind homeowner to replace dirt filtration bag. Resets with rocker switch on power unit; gold plated contacts for added reliability. Large 8-gallon capacity and a replaceable filter bag. Includes two mufflers. Has a two year warranty, a switch and utility valve on the unit and secondary filtration. Has CFM of 157, the waterlift is 135", and the air watts are 740. Recommends a dedicated 240 volt, 20 amp circuit.
