It utilizes the Quietdrive belt system that is multi-grooved interwoven with Mylar fibers that won't scratch or fatigue providing longer life, no slippage and a low noise level. In addition incorporated in the power head is a dirt sensor (see picture) letting you know when the area is clean. The "red" means dirt is still passing through the wand, "green" means the area is clean and free of dirt.
